I pledge allegiance to the electro-magnetic force for truth emanating from the tower of am 1090 and to the sponsors from which it stands, under any mythological being, with liberty and justice for all.

Mark from Seattle
I listen whenever I'm in my car. I listen to Stephanie Miller every morning. I definitely patronize advertisers whenever I can. Have had Zan do some plumbing, shop at Not a Number gifts, eat at the Asteroid, Portage Bay, etc. And I'm always certain to tell them how I found them.

Karen from Edmonds
Thank you for reporting the truth about current issues and letting us know what we can do to make a difference. I especially appreciate the many interviews with politicians. I pledge to listen for atleast 2 hours a day. I leave the radio on so my 2 16 year olds and 11 year old can also hear what is going on in the world. When I arrive home from work it is refreshing to see that the radio station is still tuned to 1090 and my eldest can articulate his opinions on current events. I pledge to make sure my children are informed citizens who vote and remain concerned about our country, world and enviornment.

I have already ordered items from EvolveFish.com and in the comments section I asked them to "continue to advertise on AM1090 in Seattle!".

After a brief sware with conservative talk radio and the realization that it was hate-mongering propaganda that made all the problems in our country "somebody else's fault" and the repetitious catch phrases like "Liberal Media" I was turned on to Air America about 5 years ago, and I immediately became hooked. I feel like Thom Hartmann is the professor I never had, as I didn't go to college. I have purchased from several of your advertisers. I am able to listen all day at work by streaming you online, plus on the AM radio to and from work. So: I do now, and pledge to continue to listen to am 1090 a minimum of 8 hours a day Monday through Friday. I would feel lost without it, as I don't trust any other news source. Thank you thank you! Curtis

Nancy from Newcastle

JC from Seattle
So glad to hear a station that hasn't succomb to the right wing pressure tactics and propaganda!
|
Belinda from Tacoma
i listen constantly - even have it on line right now as I am sorting boxes while I am on vacation at home! I mentioned the station as part of my political discussions when referring to various view points of different venues. i write out the call numbers for people when they ask where the station is.... I would be devastated if this station went away as even another station that had one or two progressive hosts years ago, are leaning more and more the other way.

Carla from Seattle
I listen for 8 to 10 hours a day, at least (streaming on the internet during work, thank you for offering that!). I love all of the shows (except the gardening, I have no yard). I discuss what I hear with my friends and let them know where I get my information. Love you guys!

Chuck from Bellevue
I listen to AM 1090 for about 10 hours a day 7 days a week. It is the ONLY station that broadcasts anything close to the truth in the entire Pacific Northwest. I have given business to advertisers and if possible I only patronize businesses that I hear about on 1090. GREAT JOB

David from Gig Harbor
I pledge to listen to AM 1090 live and on the web when I travel at least daily.

After over 40 years as a voting conservative I have discovered that I am not a Republican...at least not a Republican as the party seems to exist these days. My values and objectives cannot match up with the GOP as it is and has been for the past 20 years or so. I am an Obama supporter...have been since he appeared on the primary scene and I might even consider myself a liberal in many areas, such as social justice, environment, and "everyone" rights...the loss thereof! I am disgusted with the current state of our economy, the war in Iraq, our foreign relations (do we have any left...at least good relations) and the legacy we are leaving to our children and to their children. Change will be incremental and it must be real. I believe that Obama will stir things up enough to force our representatives and senators to finally deal with some of these challenges and that we will see some modicum of progress. This (Obama's) example will "rub off" on all of us, conservatives and liberals and everyone in between.

It is educational & we learn about the agenda's, issues and names of politicians. It is lke a FREE college class on the field and it is intellectually stimulating. We listen in the car and we learn very intriguing details. We want decals for the cars and to give friends. How do we get them? Yes we will tell more than three friends and fellow citizens. We are already listening about two hours with our busy schedules (working for relentless cooperates!) One fear though- You are TOO powerful. When anything or anybody is TOO POWERFUL then the opposite element will creep in and corrupt you. How will you avoid it? This will need the AM1090 participant to keep their head cool all the time without the help of a WHITE HOUSE staff and private health FLEET of fifty doctors, nurses, and health technicians!! Keep healthy, be well and ALWAYS be HOnest

Kono from Normandy Park
I pledge to listen to 1090AM at least 2hrs a day (currently listening at least 8hrs a day) and I pledge to tell all my friends to listen too. If I may ask that you continue to use facts & research those facts so that "speaking the truth" is still our primary unifying motivation to change the way things are in America today. I've searched long to find a station that speaks the truth, does their research, and entertains all at the same time - I'm home..Thanks:)

Madison from Everett
I listen every time I am in the Car and I installed an am antenna to listen at work. I am part owner of the only gay, lesbian and transgender nightspot in Everett. We listen every day!

Dave from Bothell
Driving around in my car for my sales job, I listen almost exclusively to AM1090. I always considered myself a "Progressive" but there was never a central place to exchange ideas and thoughts. Your hosts are well-versed in their knowledge of the "whole" truth where you can get so much more than the mainstream media delivers. It is almost embarrasing how lazy they are. Keep up the good work!
|
Victor from Edgewood
I pledge to listen to Ed Schultz, Randi Rhodes, Mike Maloy, and Ring of Fire, and others every day. I also tell other people about your station and to listen to it. Both my wife and I love listening and getting information every day.

I drive a lot for my job (I'm a nurse who visits very ill people in their homes). This is THE station that I listen to both in my car and at home. I definitely tell others to listen, especially to Thom Hartman(n?) Thanks for keeping this going...I have also gone to different advertisers that I've heard on this station, most recently Geno's on Ambaum. Cynthia

I was flipping through the am dial when I stumbled upon Thom Hartmann's show. Ever since I've tuned in to listen to many of the great shows that AM1090 plays. The info you get on this station is unlike any other programming I've ever heard and it's refreshing to hear something informed and intelligent.

Craig from Tacoma
Progressive talk,in any form, has too long been absent from our society. I pledge to listen to Tom Hartmann as often as is possible and to tell as many people as I can about his exceptional show. I also pledge to take note of sponsors of the show and to patronize their buisnesses whenever I can and ask others to do the same!
